sadly our shows with The Charlatans have been cancelled. major bummer, brah. hopefully everything is okay with those Charlatan UK’s and they might reschedule the tour some day.
BUT HEY! REMEMBER HOW MUCH FUN OUR USTREAM CHAT WAS?! IT’S LIKE A FREE SHOW AND HANGING OUT WITH US IN OUR LIVING ROOMS. WELL, IT’S HAPPENING AGAIN, ON THE 29TH I BELIEVE. AUDREY (AKA MY BRAIN) HASN’T TEXTED ME BACK TO CONFIRM THIS SO IT MIGHT BE WRONG BUT I DON’T THINK IT IS. IT’S AT 1:30 PACIFIC STANDARD TIME. YES, I WAKE UP EARLY SO PEOPLE IN THE UK DON’T HAVE TO STAY UP TOO LATE. ALTHOUGH IT’S A SATURDAY AT 9:30 SO THE BRITS MAY BE AT THE PUBS. OHHH LIFE IS HARD.
speaking of life being hard, i have to go to bed now so i can go cry at the DMV at 8am. look at the latest news post before this one for directions on how to tune in to our USTREAM chat party this saturday!

the more you know about the Troubadour show
that rhymed. my interns haven’t been here in several weeks, hence the lack of activity here and on ebay. i’m about to sell my arted up guitar and i hope the winner comes to the show so i can just hand it to them.
HEY, THE GIANT DRAG TROUBADOUR SHOW IS IN TEN DAYS. i just wet my pants a little.
yes, MICAH and myself. like old times but with some new songs. this fucking swine flu better not fuck with the show. i thought i had it for a minute but it went away after 4 days of holding still. anyways, check it.obviously Giant Drag is headlining.
my best friend Joe and The Icarus Line will be rocking your faces before that.
and just to fuck up your brain there will be acoustic acts in between both of us. what????
one of these acts, Shakey Graves, has been in my car’s cd player for many days. oh boy he is good! buy any music he is selling, you wont be sorry.
AND IF THAT WEREN’T ENOUGH WE HAVE MICKEY MADDEN FROM MAROON 5 AND THE WORLD FAMOUS ANA CALDERON DJing BETWEEN ALL THE MADNESS!

Giant Drag Troubadour Tickets On Sale Now!!!
Thats right, its intern day. Therefore, I found out my tickets are on sale and I am being forced to write this when I could be watching TV and wearing my Snuggie. I am wearing my Snuggie but the TV is on pause.

Giant Drag Los Angeles show & more
finally, something is happening. no more talking about it. well, here is some talking about it….
(please read this in a monster truck show announcer voice)
May 16th in Los Angeles, Giant Drag, in it’s original form, come back to headline The Troubadour once more. Annie Hardy, Micah Calabrese, An audience of people looking at them and the songs that you’ve been listening to since 2005(ish) and brand new jams you’re going to hear on the new record. A night to be remembered, at least until the next day- its the Giant Drag break-up/reunion show with special guest bands and DJ’s and if we can work it out, a screening of the amazing new music video for “Stuff to Live for”. Sunday! Sunday! Sunday! Tickets on sale now!!!!
actually i think its a saturday but after midnight it will be a sunday too. you come and get it.in “weak” news, my computer died over a month ago and i just finally got it back up and running yesterday. besides having a shit ton of emails, i lost EVERYTHING on my hard drive, including all the pictures you guys sent me for the collage in the swan song EP artwork. send them again if you want? this has been a pretty weak experience and i apologize for the lack of internet activity, including the ebay store, but you can’t do much without a computer and i milked that laziness for all it was worth. i also lost all my demos on garage band for the new album songs that i hadn’t quite finished. anyone care to pay 5 grand so i can take the hard drive to a recovery specialist?

i love coconut syrup soooo much i spit it out of my mouth and smile
finally i have come here with something of substance to talk about instead of lying about how much work i am doing. i mean, i am doing work but really, lets be honest with myself, i have nothing to show for it…. until now.
so ladies and gentlemen, i present to you a clip of something that is about to exist. but for now suck on some seconds of what we are calling a “teaser” for the “stuff to live for” music video and the swan song EP.
GJ Echternkamp really outdid himself making this the best video EVER and torturing me harder than he ever has so i hope YOU will enjoy it as much as EYE didn’t enjoy having milk and Tampico dumped all over me.
