my good for nothing little brother finally did something useful and found this site w/free ringtonez dudez!!!!

that was my impression of one of the many spam comments i see every time i go to giant drag’s myspace. i don’t really have a little brother, i guess that makes him even more good for nothing yet somewhat incredible for finding a website with free ringtones. i’ve always wanted this…
anyway, news. its here. its queer. get used to it.
SHOW:
one last show before i crawl into a studio and start growing a tail and eating my own poop. what, you didn’t know thats what happens in recording studios? fucking amateurs. anyway, this SHOW is more like an EVENT that has something to do with ART and WALKING. it sounds fun if you’re into shows, events, art, walking or giant drag. now i’m going to be honest and up front with you because we’re friends, this show is kind of expensive BUT it includes free drinks AND snacks so in the end it all balances out to being the price of a ticket, drinks and food at a regular music venue. this is actually a steal if you’re an alcoholic, you’ll probably end up saving money. it’s $30 but you gotta order your tickets online(go to www.lacma.org and click on the ArtWalk thingie with my face next to it) and use the promo code GD and then its only $25. another reason to go is that this show is on June 2nd which is 3 days before my big fat birthday! it will be like my birthday party and your presence will be my present, though i am not discouraging tangible presents. lastly, giant drag is now a revolving cast of characters so there is no telling who will be playing(besides me) and every show will be unique like a snowflake…this show will be with max, nat and drew from The Adored(they did the last two shows with me) and we are working out some songs that micah and i could never play live due to lack of arms. i’ve been sick all week so we haven’t practiced them yet but we have been thinking about them, hard. who knows what we’ll play, all i know is space is limited so you better buy them tickets now if you want to go. do i talk too much?
STUDIO:
in a couple weeks i will finally be going into one and making a new album. Mr. Joe Chicarelli, who’s recent works include the latest Shins, White Stripes and Raconteurs albums, will be producing it and a whole bunch of sweet dudes will be playing instruments on it with me. it takes an army of men to replace micah’s insane amount of face and body hair, which strangely stops at his wrists and ankles, its like he’s wearing skin socks and gloves and the rest of his skin is made of hair, truly amazing!
STUFF:
i just wanted a third “S” word so this news post would have three topics that all begin with the same letter. i can’t really think of any ‘stuff’ to speak of now though…hmm…i guess after this SHOW i will be in the STUDIO which means i wont be doing any STUFF until i’m done in the STUDIO. then i get back to doing mad STUFF like touring until my face falls off, getting interviewed and crying about constantly being misquoted and just complaining a lot in general. i really do talk too much don’t i? i’m very sensitive to caffeine and i’ve had two dr. peppers and one cup of tea today. okay, i’m done now. hope to see you at the ArtWalk Afterparty show thing.
