On Sunday March 28th, 2010 the Los Angeles Rock N Roll Preservation Society coordially invites you to PARTY OUT WEST!
The Los Angeles Rock n’ Roll Preservation Society is a group of dedicated music lovers interested in promoting, booking, and preserving good music throughout the Southern California area. As well as producing events for charity. PARTY OUT WEST! is the Los Angeles Rock N Roll Preservation Society’s first major benefit concert. This year is the 1st anual PARTY OUT WEST for which we have selected MUSICARES as our beneficiary.

Since 1989, Musicares has provided a safety net of critical assistance for music people in times of need. MusiCares’ services and resources cover a wide range of financial, medical and personal emergencies, and each case is treated with integrity and confidentiality. MusiCares also focuses the resources and attention of the music industry on human service issues that directly impact the health and welfare of the music community.

The work that Musicares does is funded by donations.Many years their budget is exhausted in a matter of months. This happens because the need from the music community is so great. This year, times are especially tough on everyone. Our goal is to help Musicares help a few more people.

On Sunday March 28th, 2010 The Echo and Echoplex play host to “PARTY OUT WEST – A Benefit for Music Cares”. POW is a day long music festival with live performances from over 18 acts. Scheduled to perform are 60’s Garage Greats THE STANDELLS, THE ZEROS, PETER CASE, GIANT DRAG, ICARUS LINE, PIERCED ARROWS (ex-Dead Moon), TY SEGALL, THE LORDS OF ALTAMONT aswell as such local support acts: OKIE DOKIE, GESTAPO KHAZI, LE FACE, SEAN WHEELER & ZANDER SCHLOSS, CHARLIE AND THE MOONHEARTS, and many more.
